Can just recommend for a brief pause.
Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a lovely restaurant offering seasonal dishes sourced from local produce, making my stay truly enjoyable as I also appreciated the free parking facilities nearby.
Nothing to dislike.

The hotel offers a charming pub atmosphere with a lively vibe, making it perfect for those who enjoy a sociable environment.
Unfortunately, the dinner options are hit and miss. my wife's fish main course was disappointingly small for the price.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the very comfortable beds and the grand breakfast with lots of choice. Staff were lovely and attentive, making us feel right at home. The only downside was the lack of a chair in our room. But overall, mighty nice time!

Ramsbury vibes 🍻
The staff were super warm, made me feel right at home. The room was lekker and quiet—got a proper good night's sleep. Brekkie was solid too, way more than just your average continental.
Check-in was a bit of a trek since I arrived early and had to drop off my luggage elsewhere.

The elegant decor caught my eye right away. My room was beautifully furnished, providing great comfort and a cozy atmosphere. I really appreciated the good quality tea and coffee selections in the room. The welcoming staff added a very homey touch. Breakfast offerings were delightful, with locally sourced products making meals feel special. the room had some noisy disturbances due to its proximity to the bar. the water pressure in the shower was disappointingly weak, which dampened the experience. The pricing of the dinner menu felt a bit high given the local area standards, and I noticed a few items were absent for vegetarians.

missingWrote a review on 02 Septcharming pub atmosphereconstant noisepoor ventilation
The hotel has a charming pub atmosphere with historical character.
My stay was plagued by constant noise from the upstairs rooms, which made it hard to relax and get a good night’s sleep. the sauna-like heat on the first day of my stay was unbearable due to poor ventilation and small windows. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi kept failing, and I found the bathroom amenities lacking, as the shower gel was empty upon arrival.

missingWrote a review on 11 Junlively atmospheregood startercleanliness issueservice issuefood quality issue
The twin room presented issues with cleanliness, showing signs of wear, and the shower door had accessibility problems. A persistent lack of basic amenities, such as a waste bin and operational blinds, added to the discomfort. Dining was disappointing, highlighted by inconsistent food quality and portions that felt overpriced. Despite the lively atmosphere, it fell short on value for a group experience.
